Pool Inspection

Gulf Coast Property Inspections goal is to provide you with the information you need to make a confident decision about your purchase.

Most jurisdictions require some type of barrier at the pool and spa to prevent drowning. Sometimes, the barrier is surrounding the pool, but not the spa. Be sure to not overlook the issue of barriers when inspecting the spa.

Because there are many pools in Florida, the risk of drowning is more prevalent. According to the Florida Department of Health, unintentional drowning is the leading cause of death in the state among children ages 1 to 4. The state's swimming pool laws are designed to decrease the number of deaths and improve safety.
